Flexcell projects use the .flxl format and are saved or opened locally in your browser. The readable .flexcell extension is also supported. Project files are never uploaded.

CSV files use Flexcell's CSV parser. Excel workbooks import one selected worksheet as plain tabular data. Formatting, formulas, charts, comments, workbook structure, and macros are not imported. Macro-enabled files are never executed.
